TransAm Trucking has named a new president and appointed a new CFO.
Murray Droescher is the carrier’s new president and was also named EVP of TransAm’s parent Jacobson Holdings, the company announced Aug. 1. The Kansas-based reefer, dedicated and drayage services provider on Aug. 8 announced the appointment of Faith Escutia as CFO.
Escutia joined the company in February 2020 as director of finance.
The company said Escutia helped streamline TransAm’s operations. Russ McElliott, president of Jacobson Holdings in a statement praised Escutia’s commitment to financial excellence and ability to navigate complex challenges which made her “the ideal choice for CFO.”
Droesher had served as CFO since 1999 and will oversee TransAm’s day-to-day operations.
“Murray’s deep understanding of our organization and his proven track record of driving excellence make him the perfect fit to lead TransAm Trucking,” McElliott said.
Droescher, who joined TransAm as controller in 1998, said in a statement he looks forward to his new role.
“Together with our dedicated team, we will continue to drive innovation, deliver top-tier transportation solutions, and create lasting value for our partners,” he said.
