Dive Insight:
ITS Logistics has been making efforts to expand its national footprint.
In April, the company opened an innovation center in Walnut Creek, California, to help it leverage emerging technology like its container management platform. This followed its warehouse expansion in Whitestown, Indiana, in January 2023.
The company’s Fort Worth expansion is a natural evolution for its third-party logistics business model, CEO Scott Pruneau said in the announcement.
“Our new center in Fort Worth gives us a physical presence in a growing supply chain hub serving many thriving industries,” Pruneau said.
ITS Logistics President Manny McElroy will lead the company’s new Fort Worth transportation center. McElroy has been with the company since 2012 and was recently promoted to president after serving as SVP of transportation. Prior to ITS Logistics, he worked for Geodis, XPO and Schneider National.
