Haney and White Enterprise has acquired B.R. Williams Trucking and B.R. Williams LTL Logistics, the company announced Aug. 14.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The combined operations will operate as BRW and employ 300 people across Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky, the company said. The company will integrate its four subsidiaries Haney and White Logistics, freight brokerage Running Ox Logistics and the businesses of Oxford, Alabama-based B.R. Williams.
Adding B.R. Williams’ trucking assets to Haney and White’s logistics and warehousing businesses is expected to create operational synergies and expands services and capacity, according to the announcement.
“The combination of these four companies provides a dynamic, disruptive, and driven enterprise built on integrity that is ideal for taking advantage of market growth opportunities and long-term sustainability,” Nate Haney, co-founder of Shepherdsville, Kentucky-based Haney and White Enterprise said in the announcement.
B.R. Williams Trucking operates 137 power units and employs 121 drivers, according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration data. The merged operations will have 175 tractors, over 700 trailers and five warehouses spanning over one million square feet, the company said.
The combined companies are projected to have immediate annual revenues approaching $100 million. The company expects business synergies and growth plans will propel revenues to $250 million by 2030.
BRW seeks to develop a shipping corridor to the Southeastern U.S. from Indiana to Florida, catering to automotive manufacturers and suppliers, e-commerce and government contracts.
B.R. Williams Trucking, a family-owned and operated business, launched in 1958. CEO and President Greg Brown took over the role from his mother-in-law and co-founder Ruth Williams when she retired in 1992.
Brown said the merged businesses will build on what the Williams family started.
“With Haney and White at the helm, B.R. Williams is poised to reach even greater heights, further solidifying its reputation as a trucking, warehousing, and logistics industry leader,” he said in the announcement.
