J.B. Hunt’s transloading footprint growth shows no signs of slowing.
The carrier expanded the services nationwide in July, launching a West Coast facility in Commerce, California, to serve the Los Angeles and Long Beach ports. The announcement came after J.B. Hunt debuted a transloading operation in New York last year to help address congestion.
And this week, the carrier announced new operations on the southern border and unveiled its plans for an additional facility in the Pacific Northwest. The company will offer services in Laredo, Texas, and Tacoma, Washington — bringing four of the biggest U.S. ports and a major land point of entry within its transloading reach.
We rounded up our recent coverage to show how J.B. Hunt has executed its rapid expansion.
