While carriers once struggled to add capacity amid a pandemic-induced spike in demand, the freight market then plunged into a two-year freight recession, and more normal seasonal trends have been mixed.
If that weren’t enough, Yellow Corp.’s bankruptcy last summer poured thousands of the defunct carrier’s trucks and trailers into the used equipment market.
